Skin-Sparing Mastectomy & Immediate LUG Flap Reconstruction

Right breast cancer initially treated with wide local excision and sentinel node biopsy. Widespread DCIS on final histology necessitated a right skin-sparing mastectomy with immediate L-shaped upper gracilis (LUG) flap reconstruction. Nipple reconstruction with areolar reduction performed under local anaesthetic at 9 months, followed by nipple tattooing. Published with written consent.
